10am–12pm • Parent & Student Orientation

12pm–1pm • Lunch

1pm–3pm • Mandatory Meeting for All Cohort Students

The COOL Cohort is our weekend and after-school filmmaking program for middle and high school students. Students receive immersive film education led by industry professionals, a tiered curriculum that leads to a certificate of completion, and—if they’re 16 or older—access to paid, practical work opportunities on real productions.

What is The COOL Cooperative?

The COOL Cooperative is a New Orleans non-profit dedicated to helping youth with film-industry specific workforce development. We offer summer programs, after-school programs, and hands-on training in film production.
